 “Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength!
Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary.
.... So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing. Therefore, stand!
Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist,
put on righteousness for a breastplate,
and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom
Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One.
 And take the helmet of deliverance; along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God; as you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God’s people.”

“....Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. .......
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil.
Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground,
putting on the belt of truth and
 the body armor of God’s righteousness.
For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”

~~~ THREE points ♠ "cover" ? So I reckon:it is not cover up, not hide, but overshadow, offset & forgive. :
♣ Looking at one single verse can be confusing. Please refer to the chapter. And the verse has a reference to Proverb 10:12 'Hatred stirs up trouble. But love forgives all wrongs.' Proverbs 10:12 https://my.bible.com/bible/1359/PRO.10.12 ♠ As explained before in another blog entry, there were different words for different types of love in ancient languages of Hebrews and Greek. English has one word which the Hebrews and Greek use several. It is not just romantic love or parent love or for people in poor conditions, it is not the modern meaning of charity, either. It is more like a Godly love. .
愛Love...? 十誡 和 愛
Multiple languages. Romans 13:8-10 羅馬書13章8至10節
CCB:
凡事都不可虧欠人,但在彼此相愛方面要常常覺得做得不夠。一個人愛別人,就成全了律法。 因為「不可通姦、不可殺人、不可偷竊、不可貪婪」以及其他誡命,都可以總結成一句話——「愛鄰如己」。 人若有愛心,就不會作惡害人,所以愛成全了律法。
羅馬書 13:8‭-‬10 CCB
https://bible.com/bible/1392/rom.13.8-10.CCB
RCUV 和合本修訂版:
你們除了彼此相愛,對任何人都不可虧欠甚麼,因為那愛人的就成全了律法。 那不可姦淫,不可殺人,不可偷盜,不可貪婪,或別的誡命,都包括在「愛鄰 如己」這一句話之內了。 愛是不對鄰人作惡,所以愛就成全了律法。
羅馬書 13:8‭-‬10 RCUV
https://bible.com/bible/139/rom.13.8-10.RCUV
THV12HDB 客家話 :
千萬毋好欠債!彼此相惜正係你等應該欠个債。所有惜別人个,就係遵守法律。 法律个命令規定:「做毋得犯姦淫;做毋得㓾人;做毋得偷拿;做毋得貪心。」這一切㧯其他个命令全部係包含在「惜別人像自家」這條命令底背。 惜別人个,就毋會做傷害別人个事;所以,有愛心正會使法律得到圓滿。
文言文 淺文理和合本:
相愛以外、勿負於人、蓋愛人者、盡律法也、 蓋云、勿淫、勿殺、勿竊、勿貪、抑或他誡、皆總於此言、愛鄰如己是也、 愛者、與鄰無惡、故愛乃律法之盡也、○
勿歉於人、惟以相愛為歉、蓋愛人者盡律也、  如曰勿淫、勿殺、勿竊、勿貪、抑或他誡、皆以一言蔽之、曰愛鄰如己、  夫愛不為害於鄰、愛也者、律之盡也、○
KJV 英王占姆士版:
Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.  For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Romans 13:8‭-‬10 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.13.8-10.KJV
NLT New Living Translation :
Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These—and other such commandments—are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
Romans 13:8‭-‬10 NLT
https://bible.com/bible/116/rom.13.8-10.NLT
CPDV: Public Domain Catholic Version:
You should owe nothing to anyone, except so as to love one another. For whoever loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. For example: You shall not commit adultery. You shall not kill. You shall not steal. You shall not speak false testimony. You shall not covet. And if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The love of neighbor does no harm. Therefore, love is the plenitude of the law.
Romans 13:8‭-‬10 CPDV
https://bible.com/bible/42/rom.13.8-10.CPDV
AMPC: Amplified Bible Classic Edition:
Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one's fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]. The commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet (have an evil desire), and any other commandment, are summed up in the single command, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. [Exod. 20:13-17; Lev. 19:18.] Love does no wrong to one's neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law.
Romans 13:8‭-‬10 AMPC
https://bible.com/bible/8/rom.13.8-10.AMPC
CJB: Complete Jewish Bible:
"Don’t owe anyone anything — except to love one another; for whoever loves his fellow human being has fulfilled Torah . For the commandments, “Don’t commit adultery,” “Don’t murder,” “Don’t steal,” “Don’t covet,” and any others are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does not do harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fullness of Torah."
Romans (Rom) 13:8‭-‬10 CJB
https://bible.com/bible/1275/rom.13.8-10.CJB
The Message :
Don’t run up debts, except for the huge debt of love you owe each other. When you love others, you complete what the law has been after all along. The law code—don’t sleep with another person’s spouse, don’t take someone’s life, don’t take what isn’t yours, don’t always be wanting what you don’t have, and any other “don’t” you can think of—finally adds up to this: Love other people as well as you do yourself. You can’t go wrong when you love others. When you add up everything in the law code, the sum total is love .
Romans 13:8‭-‬10 MSG
https://bible.com/bible/97/rom.13.8-10.MSG
JCB:
借りがあれば、全部返しなさい。ただし、互いに愛し合うことだけは別です。というのは、人を愛することは、神のすべての律法、すべての要求にかなうことだからです。 自分を愛するように隣人を愛していれば、その人を傷つけたり、だましたり、殺したり、その人のものを盗んだりしたいとは思わないでしょう。またその人の妻と罪を犯すとか、その人のものを欲しがるといった、「十戒」で禁じられていることは何一つしないでしょう。このように、「姦淫するな、殺すな、盗むな、むさぼるな」という戒めは、「自分を愛するように、あなたの隣人を愛しなさい」という一つの戒めに含まれるのです。 愛はだれにも悪を行いません。だからこそ、愛は神の要求をすべて完全に満たすのです。愛こそ、あなたがたに必要なただ一つのおきてです。
ローマ人への手紙 13:8‭-‬10 JCB
FMAR: Martin 1744
Ne devez rien à personne, sinon que vous vous aimiez l'un l'autre ; car celui qui aime les autres, a accompli la Loi. Parce que ce qui est dit : Tu ne commettras point adultère, Tu ne tueras point, Tu ne déroberas point, Tu ne diras point de faux témoignage, Tu ne convoiteras point, et tel autre commandement, est sommairement compris dans cette parole : Tu aimeras ton Prochain comme toi-même. La charité ne fait point de mal au Prochain : l'accomplissement donc de la Loi, c'est la charité.
耶穌在地上寫字?為甚麼?寫甚麼?
哈! 偶然在youTube 看某talk show,卻意外發現了 很多年來某個疑惑的答案!!
在聖經 John/若望/約翰 福音 第7章,
Yeshua/Jesus耶穌傳道,
但是當時的長老們不信耶穌所說的生命活水(第37-38節),並想對付祂。  到約翰福音第8章,他們想出一個圈套: 他們找來一位不貞的婦女,問耶穌意見。 不過在第8章6-8節: 「他們說這話,乃試探耶穌,要得着告他的把柄。  耶穌卻彎着腰,用指頭在地上畫字。 他們還是不住地問他, 耶穌就直起腰來,對他們說: 「你們中間誰是沒有罪的,誰就可以先拿石頭打她。」 於是又彎着腰,用指頭在地上畫字。」 ❕❓❔呢?
在地上泥土沙塵用手指劃寫?
為甚麼寫 甚麼
原來 很久以前,在 耶利米書17章13節,已預言:
「耶和華- 以色列 的盼望啊, 凡離棄你的必致蒙羞。 耶和華說 : 離開我的, 他們的名字 必寫在土裏, 因為他們離棄我這活水的泉源。」 ~耶利米書 17:13 CUNP-神 https://bible.com/bible/46/jer.17.13.CUNP-神
*耶利米先知的預言是 大約公元前601年寫的!! 耶穌在地上寫字時 大約 公元 32年 左右! 到底, 他在地上寫了甚麼? 搜尋一下... 原來... 有人說,根據在另一些文獻紀錄
他寫的是那些想整治他的幾個長老各人的罪行。 所以 他們完全無可辯駁, 只好又羞又惱地悄悄離開。 而且...  幾句文字 開始第一個字母, 可拼出... 「默西亞」(救世主)! http://fatherjohn.blogspot.com/2014/03/stump-priest-what-did-christ-write-on.html
奇妙呢!
😌🙏 果然,
如Matthew 馬太福音/馬竇福音 說:
「祈求,就會給你們;
   尋找,就會尋見;
   叩門,就會給你們開門。」
有心找尋主,一定終於找到。
有心找尋主的真理,一定終於找到。
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
~ King James Version (UK)
AMPC
35 Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).
36 But [as] I told you, although you have seen Me, still you do not believe and trust and have faith.
37 All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me].
38 For I have come down from heaven not to do My own will and purpose but to do the will and purpose of Him Who sent Me.
47 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life.
48 I am the Bread of Life [that gives life–the Living Bread].
49 Your forefathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and [yet] they died.
50 [But] this is the Bread that comes down from heaven, so that [any]one may eat of it and never die.
51 I [Myself] am this Living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).
~ Amplified Version classic edition
MSG
35-38 Jesus said, “I am the Bread of Life. The person who aligns with me hungers no more and thirsts no more, ever. I have told you this explicitly because even though you have seen me in action, you don’t really believe me. Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don’t let go. I came down from heaven not to follow my own whim but to accomplish the will of the One who sent me.
47-51“I’m telling you the most solemn and sober truth now: Whoever believes in me has real life, eternal life. I am the Bread of Life. Your ancestors ate the manna bread in the desert and died. But now here is Bread that truly comes down out of heaven. Anyone eating this Bread will not die, ever. I am the Bread—living Bread!—who came down out of heaven. Anyone who eats this Bread will live—and forever! The Bread that I present to the world so that it can eat and live is myself, this flesh-and-blood self.”
~The Message
CJB
35 Yeshua answered, “I am the bread which is life! Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever trusts in me will never be thirsty.
36 I told you that you have seen but still don’t trust.
37 Everyone the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will certainly not turn away.
38 For I have come down from heaven to do not my own will but the will of the One who sent me.
47 Yes, indeed! I tell you, whoever trusts has eternal life:
48 I am the bread which is life.
49 Your fathers ate the man in the desert; they died.
50 But the bread that comes down from heaven is such that a person may eat it and not die.
51 I am the living bread that has come down from heaven; if anyone eats this bread, he will live forever. Furthermore, the bread that I will give is my own flesh; and I will give it for the life of the world.”
He who comes to Me shall not get hungry at all, and he who believes in Me shall not get thirsty at all. 36 “But I said to you that you have seen Me, and still do not believe. 37 “All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I shall by no means cast out. 38 “Because I have come down out of the heaven, not to do My own desire, but the desire of Him who sent Me.
47 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me possesses everlasting life.
48 “I am the bread of life.
49 “Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died.
50 “This is the bread which comes down out of the heaven, so that anyone might eat of it, and not die.
51 “I am the living bread which came down out of the heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever. And indeed, the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”
35 耶穌說:「我就是生命的糧,到我這裡來的人必定不餓,信我的人必永遠不渴。
36但我對你們說過,你們雖然親眼看見我,仍然不信。
37 凡父賜給我的人,必到我這裡來。到我這裡來的,我總不丟棄他。
38 因為我從天上下來,不是要成就自己的旨意,而是要成就差我來者的旨意。
47 我實實在在地告訴你們,信我的人有永生,
48 因為我是生命的糧
49 你們的祖先在曠野吃過嗎哪,還是死了。
50 但這是從天上降下來的糧,人吃了就不死。
51 我就是天上降下來的生命之糧,人吃了這糧,必永遠活著。我將要賜下的糧就是我的肉,是為了讓世人得到生命。」
6:35
耶穌回答說:「我就是生命的食糧;到我這裡來的,永不會饑餓;信從我的,總不會渴。
6:36
但是,我向你們說過:你們看見了我,仍然不信。
6:37
凡父交給我的,必到我這裡來;而到我這裡來的,我必不把他拋棄於外,
6:38
因為我從天降下,不是為執行我的旨意,而是為執行派遣我來者的旨意。
6:47
實實在在告訴你們:信從的人,必得永生。
6:48
我是生命的食糧
6:49
你們的祖先在曠野中吃過『瑪納』卻死了;
6:50
這是從天上降下來的食糧,誰吃了,就不死。
6:51
我是從天上降下的生活的食糧;誰若吃了這食糧,必要生活直到永遠。」
 35伊伊穌斯語之曰、〇我即生命之糧、就我來者必不饑、信我者永不渴、 36然我嘗吿爾等、爾等已見我而不信、 37凡為父所予我者必來就我、來就我者我不逐之於外、 38蓋我由天降、非為行己旨、乃行遣我者父之旨、 39此乃遣我者父之旨、即為凡彼所予我者、我不滅其一、乃末日復活之、
〇此乃遣我者父之旨、即凡見子而信之者、有永遠之生命、而我于末日復活之、48〇我即生命之糧、 49爾衆之列祖在曠野食芒那亦死矣、 50此乃由天降之糧、俾誰由之食決不死、 51我乃生命之糧、即由天降者、若誰由此糧而食、則將生于世世、我所予之糧、乃我體、即我為世之生命所予者、
35 E Gesù disse loro: Io sono il pan della vità; chi viene a me non avrà fame, e chi crede in me non avrà giammai sete.
36 Ma io vi ho detto che, benchè mi abbiate veduto, non però credete.
37 Tutto quello che il Padre mi dà verrà a me, ed io non caccerò fuori colui che viene a me. 38 Perciocchè io son disceso del cielo, non acciocchè io faccia la mia volontà, ma la volontà di colui che mi ha mandato.
47 In verità, in verità, io vi dico: Chi crede in me ha vita eterna.
48 Io sono il pan della vita
49 I vostri padri mangiarono la manna nel deserto, e morirono.
50 Quest'è il pane ch'è disceso dal cielo, acciocchè chi ne avrà mangiato non muoia.
51 Io sono il vivo pane, ch'è disceso dal cielo; se alcun mangia di questo pane viverà in eterno; or il pane che io darò è la mia carne, la quale io darò per la vita del mondo.
35 Et Jésus leur dit : je suis le pain de vie. Celui qui vient à moi, n'aura point de faim ; et celui qui croit en moi, n'aura jamais soif.
36 Mais je vous ai dit que vous m'avez vu, et cependant vous ne croyez point.
37 Tout ce que mon Père me donne, viendra à moi ; et je ne mettrai point dehors celui qui viendra à moi.
38 Car je suis descendu du ciel non point pour faire ma volonté, mais la volonté de celui qui m'a envoyé.
47 En vérité, en vérité je vous dis : qui croit en moi a la vie éternelle.
48 Je suis le pain de vie.
49 Vos pères ont mangé la manne au désert, et ils sont morts.
50 C'est ici le pain qui est descendu du ciel, afin que si quelqu'un en mange, il ne meure point. 51 Je suis le pain vivifiant qui suis descendu du ciel ; si quelqu'un mange de ce pain, il vivra éternellement ; et le pain que je donnerai, c'est ma chair, laquelle je donnerai pour la vie du monde.
35 Jésus leur répond : « Le pain qui donne la vie, c’est moi. Si quelqu’un vient à moi, il n’aura jamais faim. S’il croit en moi, il n’aura jamais soif.
36 Mais je vous l’ai dit : vous m’avez vu, et pourtant vous ne croyez pas.
37 Tous ceux que le Père me donne viendront à moi, et celui qui vient à moi, je ne le mettrai pas dehors.
38 Oui, je suis descendu du ciel pour faire la volonté de celui qui m’a envoyé. Je ne suis pas venu pour faire ce que je veux.
47« Oui, je vous le dis, c’est la vérité : si quelqu’un croit, il vit avec Dieu pour toujours.
48 Le pain qui donne la vie, c’est moi.
49 Dans le désert, vos ancêtres ont mangé la manne et ils sont morts.
50 Mais si quelqu’un mange le pain descendu du ciel, il ne mourra pas.
51Le pain vivant qui est descendu du ciel, c’est moi. Celui qui mange de ce pain vivra pour toujours. Et le pain que je donnerai, c’est mon corps, je le donne pour la vie du monde. »
35 Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich bin das Brot des Lebens: wer zu mir kommt, wird nicht hungern, und wer an mich glaubt, wird nimmermehr dürsten.
36 Aber ich habe euch gesagt, daß ihr mich auch gesehen habt und nicht glaubet.
37 Alles, was mir der Vater gibt, wird zu mir kommen, und wer zu mir kommt, den werde ich nicht hinausstoßen;
38 denn ich bin vom Himmel herniedergekommen, nicht auf daß ich meinen Willen tue, sondern den Willen dessen, der mich gesandt hat.
47 Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer an mich glaubt, hat ewiges Leben.
48 Ich bin das Brot des Lebens.
49 Eure Väter haben das Manna in der Wüste gegessen und sind gestorben.
50 Dies ist das Brot, das aus dem Himmel herniederkommt, auf daß man davon esse und nicht sterbe.
51 Ich bin das lebendige Brot, das aus dem Himmel herniedergekommen ist; wenn jemand von diesem Brote ißt, O. gegessen hat.
個人筆記:
古時的以色列猶太人
出埃及後 在曠野 神 每天賜給他們吃 manna.
(1)經文 指 基督 是來自天上的「食物」(想生存永生的必須品)
(2)亦有人指 出埃及後 神在幫他們改變飲食習慣,戒口戒食屍體。
亦令他們學習重尊重求神 操練他們的信心。
