(A) Paul was telling the church at Corinthians not to be proud and stated that apostles were made to be humble.

(B) Notice that English phrase "For Christ's Sake" *. It was used in colloquial way. However, as the population/ the public forgotten about Bible and church, it is used less and less, even in non-biblical ways. Modern English translations use less of the phrase and change the expression.

* ( In modern days, in everyday life use or as in TV drama, that phrase is used when the person is annoyed or angry by the action of the other.  Mostly used by older persons, not by young people. Of course, it is already departed from the original usages. 

Different things are gradually lost in the passing on the heritage, culture and faith. 

注意英文短語 “For Christ's Sake”*。 有以口語方式使用。但隨著人們忘記聖經和教會、連它以非聖經方式使用的次數越來越少。 現代英文翻譯版本也少用該短語了。

在現代一般的日常生活中，或者在電視劇中，當一個人對另一個人的行為惱火或生氣時，就會使用那個慣用短語 。比較多由較年長人士使用，而不是年輕人使用。當然，這已經偏離了原來的用法。

不同的東西在文化和信仰的傳承中逐漸消失。 感到可惜。 注意承傳啊！

そして、「For Christ's Sake」という英語の慣用表現に注目してください。 口語でも使われていました。 しかし、大衆が聖書と教会を忘れるにつれて、聖書的および非聖書的な意味でこの慣用表現言葉が使われることはますます少なくなっています.  もちろん、それはすでに本来の用法から逸脱しています。

聖書の現代英語訳では、その慣用表現語句の使用が減り、表現が変わっています。

現代の日常生活全般やテレビドラマなどで、他人の行動にイライラしたり怒ったりするときに使われる慣用句です。 若い人よりも年配の方がよく利用します。

遺産、文化、信仰が受け継がれていく過程で、さまざまなものが失われていきます。
