ℹℹℹ2760.(天主教)  很早的教會禮儀以光榮頌結束主禱文。在《十二宗徒訓言》中，有「權威與光榮永歸於祢，萬世常存」這一句；《宗徒訓誨錄》在全句之前又加上「萬國」一詞，成為今日合一祈禱採用的經文。

東方拜占廷傳統，在「永歸於祢」之後加上「父、子、聖神」。
《羅馬彌撒經書》則以明確的遠景發揮最後一祈求：「期待著永生的幸福」(鐸 2:13)
和　救主耶穌的來臨，然後才是信眾歡呼，就是《宗徒訓誨錄》的光榮頌。]
